The locals are complaining that it’s got colder. Around 25 degrees is for them quite cold compared to high temperature which were here before my arrival. Today, I have been first time at the Project. As Anne has written
a lot about the project in her blog, I am not going describe much
about the background . My task on that day was, and will be during my time in
Rio, to help Anne and to draw…

So, I'm just over the mid-way point of my volunteering placement here and already I feel I have learnt and gained much more than I ever could have imagined. Of course like all long-term volunteering placements, it hasn't all been a bed of roses but I'm am, in a strange way and of course in retrospect, grateful for the tough times as not only have they given me an opportunity to get a better understanding of myself but they have made the good times…
